Charles is a graduate from the Ohio State University and the Harvard School of Business´ Advanced Management Program. He has been a CPA for over 50 years. After a long career with Arthur Young, he began an insolvency and restructuring practice shortly after the enactment of the Bankruptcy Reform Act of 1978 which continues today. He has held the AIRA´s designation as a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor for over 15 years, and he was one of the earliest inductees into the American College of Bankruptcy. He has served in innumerable cases as financial consultant, disbursing agent, Trustee, Examiner, and expert witness throughout his career.

After graduating from the University of Georgia, he received a master´s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He has over 50 years of experience as a financial executive and as a practitioner in the field of insolvency involving a wide range of cases in bankruptcy and receiverships. For 14 years he served as president and CEO of Commercial Acceptance Corporation and its subsidiaries .In 1974 he resigned his position and started a corporate finance consulting practice with his first case being North American Acceptance Corporation (NACC) which at that time was one of the largest bankruptcies in the country. He served as consultant to the court appointed trustee and he also served as CEO of NACC. Since that time, he has served as consultant to other trustees as well as serving as Trustee, Examiner, Receiver, Special Master and Special Agent in numerous cases in many judicial districts. Additionally, his practice has included much litigation support and services as litigation trustee. His 50 plus year financial career has covered most all areas of finance including mortgage lending, commercial lending, securities and financial consulting.
