Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors

AIRA 20th Annual
Bankruptcy & Restructuring Conference
June 23-26, 2004

Pull on your boots and get ready to kick up your heels for an evening of real Texas fun! This destination is an authentic 60-acre ranch and the Wild West experience begins the moment you open the front gate. The entire ranch is accessible for your enjoyment and experience.

You can try your hand at a quick-draw “shootout” contest against an outlaw gunfighter or just relax and pitch horseshoes.

When you’ve worked up a Texas sized appetite, you’ll be called to dinner by a bell signaling Circle R’s famous all-you-can-eat Texas barbecue dinner. Everything is prepared on the ranch and portions are as big as the Lone Star State.

A Country-Western/Variety band will play your favorite music while you learn to line-dance, watch the Rodeo Grande or rest on the covered porch to watch the horses graze.

Grapevine Wine Tour:

Find out why Grapevine, Texas has been dubbed “Little Napa Valley,” home of the largest wine festival in the southwest and seven of the state’s vineyards. Winemakers here are helping Texas become known throughout the world as a great wine producing region. Join us for food and wine pairing at La Buena Vida. Gain an understanding of the importance of the partnership between food and wine as you explore wines that marry well with each course of food served, from smoked salmon to chocolate ecstacy. Study the various basic components of smell and taste, including the difference a great wine glass can make. The art of pairing food and wine includes a sensory evaluation of wines with five food pairings on beautiful grounds with organically maintained gardens. An herb garden with over forty culinary herbs, a producing vineyard and native Texas plants will provide the perfect backdrop.

Following this experience, we’ll tour and taste at Delaney Vineyards, one of the 6th largest wine producers in Texas. Called “the tradition of France, the pride of Texas,” Delaney boasts an 18th century, French-style winery with a patio overlooking 10 acres of grapevines.

A relaxing dinner at a local restaurant will round out the evening.

Cost: $75 per person for the Wine Tour
