BANKRUPTCY TAXATION
Listen to an in-depth analysis of the tax consequences of abandoned property and related issues affecting individuals and businesses. A recent case law update will inform you of cases that have been decided in the past 12 -24 months involving tax issues associated with both private and corporate bankruptcy. IRS Form 982 and attribute reduction will be discussed, with the focus on the compliance reporting involved in the cancellation of indebtedness with reduction of tax attributes , including rules and regulations.
