Presentation of AIRA Lifetime Achievement Award to Judge Russell

Description:

Hon. Barry Russell, Central District of California
Judge Russell has been serving as a bankruptcy judge for the Central District of California since his appointment in 1974. Judge Russell serves as a faculty member of the Federal Judicial Center, as an associate clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of Southern California and as the mediation program administrator for the Central District of California. He received the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s “Outstanding Jurist” award in 2004. Judge Russell also authored the “Bankruptcy Evidence Manual.”
