Wilbur Ross Annual
Dinner Keynote Speaker
The 19th Annual Dinner and Awards
Ceremony will be held Thursday, June 5th in San Francisco at the
Grand Hyatt Hotel.
There will be a reception planned
prior to the dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. sponsored by Foothill
Capital Corporation. Dinner will begin at 7:30 p.m.
We are pleased to have, as Key-note
speaker of Thursday evening’s event, Wilbur Ross. Mr. Ross
is probably the best known turnaround financier in the U.S. because
he has restructured over $200 billion of defaulted companies around
the world. Fortune Magazine has nicknamed him the “King
of Bankruptcy.” After 26 years as Executive Director of
Rothschild, Inc., he bought the firm’s distressed investment
activities on April 1, 2000 and immediately opened offices in
New York City, Tokyo and Seoul. Since then, the firm has created
private investment partnerships and hedge funds totaling in excess
of $1.6 billion. Mr. Ross holds an A.B. from Yale and a M.B.A.
with Distinction from Harvard. He is a member of the New York
Society of Security Analysts Committee on Alternative Investments.
He organized International Steel Group in April, 2002 to acquire
the assets of the third largest U.S. integrated steel producer,
LTV, and is now its board chairman.
Don’t miss this great opportunity
to hear one of today’s most outstanding financiers.
