19th Annual Restructuring Conference Breaks Attendance Record

This year’s attendance at the 19th Annual Restructuring Conference at the Grand Hyatt in San Francisco was the best attendance con-ference AIRA has sponsored to date with over 250 registrants in attendance.

We attribute this amazing success to an outstanding program and list of speakers from some of today’s top professionals in the field of bankruptcy turnaround. A special thank you goes to this year’s co-chairs Richard K. Brooks of CIT Business Credit (Los Angeles, CA), Cecily A. Dumas of Friedman Dumas & Springwater LLP (San Francisco, CA), and Michael P. Murphy of Deloitte & Touche LLP (San Francisco, CA).

Congratulations to the 2002 Kroll Zolfo Cooper/Randy Waits Medal Award winners. Receiving the Gold Medal for highest score for the 2002 CIRA exam was Robert S. Bingham, CIRA of Kroll Zolfo Cooper (Roseland, NJ), Silver Medal Winner Sharmila Khanorkar, CIRA of Century Business Services (Miami, FL), and the Bronze Medal was presented to two recipients Ronald F. Greenspan, CIRA of FTI Consulting, Inc. (Los Angeles, CA) and Michael M. Ozawa, CIRA of FTI Consulting, Inc. (Los Angeles, CA). Thanks to Stephen Cooper, CIRA of Kroll Zolfo Cooper (New York, NY) for presenting the awards.
