Huron Consulting Group Promotes Four to Managing Director

Huron Consulting Group recently announced that Stephen Burns, Steven Korf, Robert Ogle and Daniel Wikel have been promoted to managing director.

“These individuals have been a key part of Huron’s growth and success,” said Gary Holdren, president of Huron Consulting Group. “Huron congratulates them on this important milestone in their careers.”

BURNS: Burns joined the company as a director in the Financial and Economic Consulting practice. With more than 17 years of accounting and consulting experience, he specializes in complex claims and events involving large volumes of data and accounting issues. Burns, a CPA, received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. He is based in the company’s Chicago office.

KORF: Korf joined Huron as a director in the company’s Corporate Advisory Services practice. He advises clients on corporate turnarounds, loan workouts and bankruptcy situations. Korf has represented creditors of both public and private companies in identifying solutions to various complex operational and financial issues. He received his B.S. in Accounting from State University of New York. Korf, a Certified Public Accountant CPA, is based in the company’s New York office.

OGLE: Ogle, who has more than 20 years of experience in advising debtors and creditors in corporate restructuring for large and small companies across a variety of industries, joined the company as a director in the Corporate Advisory Services practice. Ogle is a CPA and holds a Masters in Accounting from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo. He is based in Huron’s Houston office.

WIKEL: Wikel joined Huron as director in the Corporate Advisory Services practice. He advises clients on corporate turnarounds, lender workouts, and bankruptcy situations. He received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management from Northwestern University and his undergraduate degree from Marquette University. Wikel, a CPA, is based in the company’s Chicago office.
